Students Crack Codes and Escape in thrilling Reward Trip

A collection of our Year 8 and Year 9 students enjoyed a fantastic reward trip to the Trapp’d Escape Rooms at Chester House in early October.

The 37 students were tasked with applying their maths and science skills to a range of challenges to escape – or risk being trapped forever!

Navigating their way through three different rooms – Spellbound, Amazonia and School of Sorcery – the cohort encountered problems that required logical reasoning and a knack for problem solving. They had to complete challenging jigsaw puzzles, crack the padlock code to open chests and spelling out codes by knocking down cauldrons with robes!

Students demonstrated fantastic teamwork, working collaboratively to eventually escape from their three rooms in under one hour, meaning they weren’t trapped forever and instead had to return to school the following day!

The trip was a tremendous success, and plans are underway to potentially run it again soon.
