Leicester City schools work very closely together and we are proud to be designated the Hub school, for English, across the city.
The English Department has been identified as a lead department in the Leicester City local authority and facilitates the exchange and sharing of good practice across the city.
Leicester City schools work very closely together and we are proud to be designated the Hub school, for English, across the city. This means that we are regarded as a centre of excellence for the teaching of English and we facilitate training and opportunities for city teachers and city students. We organise an annual conference for teachers – with workshops led by renowned practitioners such as The Royal Shakespeare Company, Philip Pullman, Dreadlock Alien and Professor Debra Myhill – and another for more able Year 10 students across the city.
