Emergency Closure

COVID Update

Following on from rising Covid rates the Government has asked that face masks be reintroduced in all secondary schools for students and staff in communal areas. This is a sensible way to help keep students, staff and our wider community safe from Covid this winter.

Therefore, with immediate effect, we are requesting that all students (except those with a medical exemption) wear a face mask when travelling on school transport, in communal spaces and when queueing indoors for food.
Please remember to continue to perform a lateral flow test twice weekly.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in keeping our local communities healthy and safe.

Emergency Closure Arrangements

There are a number of ways you can stay informed if Judgemeadow needs to apply emergency closure.

On occasion Judgemeadow may close due to circumstances beyond our control, particularly when there has been heavy snowfall. If this happens, we will inform BBC Radio Leicester (104.9FM). This information will also be displayed on the homepage of our website and the Leicester City Council website http://www.leicester.gov.uk/

Details of the closure will similarly be posted on the BBC Radio Leicester homepage https://www.bbc.co.uk/radioleicester

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak the decision has been taken by government to close schools from this Friday 20th March until further notice. Education of students will be on an online basis with content uploaded via platforms such as Classcharts and SAM learning etc. Students of frontline workers such as NHS, social workers, delivery drivers will still attend school to best aid front line services. For full details about our closure arrangements please see the Closure Notice here

At Judgemeadow, although we are closed to students we are committed to keeping children safe. We realise that they will be online more than usual so please click here for advice about keeping safe online. If you need further advice regarding this please contact us at school.
