We are always pleased to share information about our school and therefore hope that you will contact us should you require further details. If there is information or resources that you would like to have available on our website, then we would be very pleased to hear from you with your suggestion.
Beyond education, we offer a wide ride range of extra-curricular opportunities from clubs and societies through to charity and community opportunities. At the heart of everything we do is preparing young people for the next steps in their lives. We want to see our pupils flourish into independent, resilient and mature young people who are kind, organised and work hard to reach their full potential regardless of their background.
At Judgemeadow, we pride ourselves on making sure that our school not only offers the best academic opportunities, but is also able to provide a pastoral system which focuses on safety, well-being, and enriching pupil’s educational experiences so that young people are able to fully thrive. Every young person is a valued individual and we have the environment for them to achieve their goals; parents will know they can feel safe in the knowledge that their child will be nurtured to be everything they want to be.

The Judgemeadow curriculum is designed to ensure that all pupils have a rewarding and enjoyable experience of school. To us this means that learning is a challenging and stimulating experience; one that successfully prepares pupils for their future.
Promoting a career development culture is an essential part of the mission and ethos of our college. We aim to support the aspirations of all our students and to ensure that they gain the understanding, skills and experience they need to make progress and succeed in learning and work. We believe that effective careers education, information and guidance not only contributes to the well-being of individuals but also to the wellbeing of their families, the communities to which they belong, wider society, businesses and the economy.
Students can choose from a range of over 20 extra curricular activities which range from those that explore a passion for science to art and design, music and sport. We encourage all of our pupils to pursue their extra curricula interests, supporting them beyond the curriculum to ensure they are well rounded young people. Performances throughout the year ensure that our students are able to share their talents with parents and other young people in the school, giving our students a platform on which to showcase their talent.

We are proud of the large, varied programme of extra-curricular activities on offer, available to enrich our pupils’ educational experience. Due to COVID 19 restrictions our extra curricular activities are currently limited. Students will be informed when these sessions are due to start up again.
During our pupils' five years at Judgemeadow, a high number of educational trips and visits are planned. The detail of these will change from year to year, but we aim to offer a range of day trips and residential visits.
Pupils are encouraged to take part in after school language sessions in French, German, Gujarati, Panjabi and Spanish. Judgemeadow has links with schools in Strasbourg (France) and Schwalmtal (Germany), and there are regular exchange visits between pupils of those schools and of Judgemeadow
All pupils are invited to take part in musical activities, such as Orchestra, Choir and Jazz, and our Drama Club. Pupils have had the opportunity to perform in annual shows, and even participate in local drama festivals and performances at the Curve Theatre. Our pupils are currently rehearsing for Judgemeadow's Spring Show - a celebration of drama and music set to take place on March 28th. Pupils are also given the opportunity to visit the theatre and attend concerts.
In addition to our taught physical education we compete locally in a variety of sports; pupils are encouraged to participate in additional activities such as Football, Netball, Rugby, Cricket and Basketball. The college has excellent facilities for use in and out of lessons, including a large sports hall, fitness suite and exceptional outdoor pitches. Our Sport and Well-being Programme can be viewed here.
Departments run after-school revision sessions for Year 11 pupils and also revision classes during the Easter holiday - pupils should ask their subject teacher for details.
