Students raise money for rainbows

COVID Update

Following on from rising Covid rates the Government has asked that face masks be reintroduced in all secondary schools for students and staff in communal areas. This is a sensible way to help keep students, staff and our wider community safe from Covid this winter.

Therefore, with immediate effect, we are requesting that all students (except those with a medical exemption) wear a face mask when travelling on school transport, in communal spaces and when queueing indoors for food.
Please remember to continue to perform a lateral flow test twice weekly.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in keeping our local communities healthy and safe.

raffle proceeds to local charity

Students took part in a raffle to win a PS5 and raised over £300 for Rainbows Hospice.

September 13, 2021

At the end of last term students and staff took part in a prize raffle with the lucky winner receiving a sought after Playstation 5 games console. Thanks to everyone's generosity Judgemeadow Community College raised £373.07 donated to the Rainbows Hospice.

Jenny Meadows, Communty Fundraiser for Rainbows said "It costs £36 for one of our Care Team to go out to a family and provide support for a couple of hours and this would not be possible without the support of people like you"

The generosity did not end there though. The winner of console also offered it as a prize, raising funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
