We are always pleased to share information about our school and therefore hope that you will contact us should you require further details. If there is information or resources that you would like to have available on our website, then we would be very pleased to hear from you with your suggestion.
Beyond education, we offer a wide ride range of extra-curricular opportunities from clubs and societies through to charity and community opportunities. At the heart of everything we do is preparing young people for the next steps in their lives. We want to see our pupils flourish into independent, resilient and mature young people who are kind, organised and work hard to reach their full potential regardless of their background.
At Judgemeadow, we pride ourselves on making sure that our school not only offers the best academic opportunities, but is also able to provide a pastoral system which focuses on safety, well-being, and enriching pupil’s educational experiences so that young people are able to fully thrive. Every young person is a valued individual and we have the environment for them to achieve their goals; parents will know they can feel safe in the knowledge that their child will be nurtured to be everything they want to be.

The Judgemeadow curriculum is designed to ensure that all pupils have a rewarding and enjoyable experience of school. To us this means that learning is a challenging and stimulating experience; one that successfully prepares pupils for their future.
Promoting a career development culture is an essential part of the mission and ethos of our college. We aim to support the aspirations of all our students and to ensure that they gain the understanding, skills and experience they need to make progress and succeed in learning and work. We believe that effective careers education, information and guidance not only contributes to the well-being of individuals but also to the wellbeing of their families, the communities to which they belong, wider society, businesses and the economy.
Students can choose from a range of over 20 extra curricular activities which range from those that explore a passion for science to art and design, music and sport. We encourage all of our pupils to pursue their extra curricula interests, supporting them beyond the curriculum to ensure they are well rounded young people. Performances throughout the year ensure that our students are able to share their talents with parents and other young people in the school, giving our students a platform on which to showcase their talent.
A warm welcome from our Principal, Jason Smith. He’ll let you know a little bit our vision and expectations of you at Judgemeadow.
During each week at school, you’ll get to see our Principal at assembly or in the corridors. However, someone else you’ll get to know is your Head of Year 7, Mr Chowdhury. He will ensure that you settle in well and will stay with you throughout your journey from Year 7 to Year 11.
We’re part of the Lionheart Academies Trust, a family of 11 schools based in and around Leicestershire. Kath Kelly, our CEO, would like to welcome you to the Lionheart Family too.
That’s enough from the teachers for now, it’s perhaps about time we heard what our current students have to say about life and learning at Judgemeadow, and what they love the most!
At Judgemeadow, we have our own bespoke transition programme called ‘Being Judgemeadow’, which means that we aim to shape your journey with us by instilling our values of being kind, being hardworking and celebrating diversity. Learn more below!

Now on to something very important – fashion! Well, maybe not quite, but uniform is definitely an important part of school life. It helps all our students belong to Judgemeadow’s community and we take pride in seeing our students dressed so smartly every day. So, what will you need to wear?
Uniform is ordered through John Cheatle Schoolwear, with more information here.
If your first language isn’t English, we’ll help support you when you join us, through our dedicated English as an Additional Language department. We’ll give you more information before you start school with us, but you can find out more here now.
We are committed to helping you fulfil your potential, which is why we organise our teaching to meet your needs. So, if you require extra support, our learning support assistants will work with you, to help you become an independent and resilient learner. Our SENDCO Sally Howgate is here to discuss how we can support you.
