At Judgemeadow we understand the value of an equal partnership between teachers and parents/carers on the emotional and academic wellbeing of students. We want our parents/carers to have a voice on the issues that matter.
Our aim is to enable parents/carers to access additional information so that you can exercise effective choice in your child’s education. This year we are continuing a programme of informal sessions for parents/carers at the College.
Following feedback from our recent parents survey, we now plan to offer two parent forum sessions each half term. These will be from 6pm-7pm. There will be one session with the focus on Academic Excellence and one session with the focus on Holistic Development. Members of the leadership team will deliver these session on key topics. These sessions will be informal and there will be lots of opportunities to ask questions.
Tea and coffee will be provided.
Sessions for this half term will be on the following dates:
The Academic Excellence Team will deliver a session aimed at year 7 and 8 parents on revision and study skills and how parents are able to support these at home.
The Holistic Development Team will deliver a session for parents of all year groups on keeping your child safe online.
Resources on topics from previous sessions are available below for all parents/carers to view or download.
